Our Mission is to Integrate Healthcare and Justice
in Response to Violence in Our Communities.

Forensic Healthcare is on the cutting edge of information vital to healthcare professionals, law enforcement, prosecutors and advocates, and all who interface with victims and perpetrators of violence in our communities. We assist physicians and nurses to understand the medical and legal needs of patients who may be victims of interpersonal violence. We also assist law enforcement and prosecutors in understanding the healthcare issues of interpersonal violence including strangulation and sexual assault. A network of forensic nurses, physicians, law enforcement and advocates are available to add their expertise.

HOW DOES FORENSIC HEALTHCARE CONSULTING ACCOMPLISH THIS?

Through specialized education and consulting services, we cultivate collaborative relationships between healthcare and law enforcement to enhance multidisciplinary services to victims of violence.
